Tremaine Emory aka Denim Tears honors his family’s roots in Harlem, Georgia with a makeover of a heritage runner. The Denim Tears x ASICS Gel MC Plus ‘Cream’ evokes Emory’s childhood memories of summers spent running along red clay roads with his brothers. Echoing this image, the leather upper in cream has burnt-orange smudge stains, and stitched bar tacks and Gel inserts in the foam midsole are delivered in a matching hue. Branding saluting Denim Tears and ASICS alternates between the right and left sockliners.
