Japanese designer Masaaki Homma gives a Vans classic a forward-thinking new look with the END. x Mastermind Japan x Vans Sk8-Hi ‘Black.’ Vans branding is turned upside down, with the trademark license plate on the lateral sidewall and Mastermind’s recognizable skull-and-bones imagery on the medial side. Traditional laces in an extended eyestay of black leather partner with a side zipper closure. The tongue with Vans branding is decorated with a metal ring and Vans’ old-school checkerboard pattern is revealed on the clear rubber outsole.
