READYMADE x Blazer Mid ‘Black Camo’

Nike tapped Yuta Hosokawa’s menswear brand to create the READYMADE x Blazer Mid. The shoe’s retro basketball construction emerges with a DIY aesthetic of leftover pieces assembled to make a shoe. The upper is built with camouflage-style textile, overlaid by unfinished quarter panels and secured by multiple laces. The distorted Swoosh wraps around the heel, which sports READYMADE branding. The exposed-foam tongue and collar play to the thematic design, while underfoot, a herringbone rubber outsole made with Nike Grind provides traction.
